Developing Leaders Who Make a Difference

The Chick-fil-A Leader Academy at Loganville Middle School gives students an opportunity to develop leadership skills, strengthen their character, and put what they learn into action through service.

Throughout the year, students participate in engaging leadership activities, discussions, and service opportunities designed to help them understand that leadership is not simply a position or title—it is using their abilities to positively influence and serve others.

What We Learn

Members participate in monthly Leader Labs focused on important leadership qualities, including:

• Gratitude – Recognizing and appreciating what we have been given
• Integrity – Doing what is right, even when no one is watching
• Vision – Setting goals and taking steps toward accomplishing them
• Empathy – Understanding and valuing the perspectives of others
• Service – Using our abilities to make a positive difference for others

Leadership in Action

Learning about leadership is only part of the experience. Students also have opportunities to put these principles into practice through service projects that benefit our school and community.
