The Loganville Middle School Archery team is a competitive team that competes at the local, state, national and world level.  Archers practice their technique in order to become more accurate shooters. 

Archery is a unique sport in that it requires focus and skill rather than just being athletic. Students work hard to make the team and love being part of a program that has been so successful. Our students take pride in being on the archery team! Our archers work very hard to improve their technique, their score and to reach their personal goals.

The program benefits students as we see improvements in attendance, behavior, grades, focus and social interactions. They learn very quickly that they are not just representing themselves anymore, they are representing their parents, our school and the City of Loganville at every tournament.

How it works:

Slogan Tshirt Fundraiser

To find 30 people or companies to pay $10 each to “Sponsor” each athlete.  $10 purchases a personalized message on the back of the athletes t-shirt.  Each “sponsor” can have up to 30 characters (which includes spaces and grammar) for their personalized message.  If the “sponsor” wants their name included, it must be in the message.  Each athlete’s shirt will be made personally for them, based on their sponsor messages.

ACADEMIC ARCHER

The Academic Archer initiative celebrates the remarkable achievements of our student archers, who excel not only on the range but also in their academic endeavors. We take immense pride in their dedication to both pursuits, balancing a rigorous competition season with outstanding academic performance, maintaining a stellar grade of 90 or above throughout the year.

The program was crafted to acknowledge the holistic success of our students, highlighting their commitment to excellence both in the classroom and in archery. Witnessing their passion for NASP® archery, we've observed how it serves as a catalyst for academic improvement. For many, it becomes the driving force behind their determination to strive for academic excellence, pushing them to reach their full potential.

Through the Academic Archer program, we aim to establish a standardized system of incentives and recognition, fostering a culture that celebrates and promotes academic achievement among our dedicated NASP® students. We couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments and the positive impact they're making, both on the range and in their academic pursuits.

LMS ARCHERY TRYOUTS
2024-2025

Tryout Dates: YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT PHYSICAL TO TRY OUT
BRING YOUR OWN BOW TO TRYOUTS
October 7th for 6^th graders
October 8th for 7^th graders
October 9th for 8^th graders
October 10th for call backs - if needed 

We will start the tryouts promptly at 6:30 a.m. in the gym so please arrive at 6:15am. Parents that wait around will have to remain in the concession stand foyer and will not be allowed in the gym. Please have archers enter the gym at the football field/softball field end of the building, NOT the main entrance. Please bring your own bow.  The team will be announced October 10th after 5 p.m. via the LMS Archery website. Practice will begin Tuesday, October 29th.

Hello - The LMS Archery team is inviting you to order some LMS Archery spiritwear this year.  We are ordering short sleeve tshirts ($10),  long sleeve tshirts ($15) and hoodies ($25). If you are interested in ordering a shirt for anyone beside the player (we are getting them one of each item) - you can purchase your spirit wear by filling out this form.  Please complete the form and pay for your spirit wear by cash, sending in a check made payable to LMS Archery or PayPal (pay as a friend) or Zelle to lmsreddevilarchery@gmail.com
 "Y" in YS, YM, YL and YXL stands for Youth sizes.  All other sizes are adult sizes.  I will be taking orders until November 1.  If I do not have payment prior to November 1, I will not be ordering your Spiritwear.
