Principal - Brian Hobbs

Welcome to Loganville Middle School!

At LMS, our staff continuously strives to ensure all students are properly prepared to be successful in an ever-changing world. LMS has long been considered a school of excellence and we take pride in not only continuing that tradition but also improving upon its already impressive reputation. I look forward to the challenges and achievements a new school year brings and seeing just far our students can go. I would encourage students and parents to plug in and get involved to ensure their time spent at LMS is maximized to the fullest potential. About Me: I am a long time resident of Walton County and like to spend time with my wife, a WCSD educator, Kristina and our two wonderful children, Brayson and Brynlee. I also enjoy hunting and fishing as hobbies away from school. I have worked in Walton County for the entirety of my career.

Assistant Principal - Jeremy Hartzog

Whether you are a new or returning student, I would like to welcome you to Loganville Middle School. The staff here at LMS is deeply committed to increasing student achievement and success. Assistant Principal - Karen Thompson

I have been working in Walton County Schools as a Assistant Principal since 2002. I am an alumnus of Central Gwinnett High School in Lawrenceville and Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. I played collegiate basketball for 4 years and softball for one. My degrees were completed at GC&SU with a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish, Masters of Public Administration, Masters of Educational Leadership and Specialists in Educational Leadership. The first two degrees were on an athletic scholarship and the last two degrees were earned on an academic scholarship.

I am fluent in Spanish and have traveled the world extensively. Some of my greatest educational achievements are being awarded the National Scholar for Educators- Administrators in Leadership and the Fulbright Scholar Award. This was issued by the U.S. Department of State. This award allowed me to visit Mexico for a semester as an Administrator for grades 6-12. Being the recipient of the prestigious Teachers Exchange Award for educators, the Embassy of Spain sent me to the Canary Islands for a semester to work with educators from all over the world in Spanish Translation. I feel that all of these experiences have led me to be a well rounded administrator for your child. May this year be the best for your family and child here at Loganville Middle School.

Assistant Principal - Jamie Nichols

Greetings, Red Devils, I am your new 8th Grade Assistant Principal! With 16 years of dedicated experience in education in Walton County, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for student success to LMS.

I am no stranger to Loganville Middle School, having spent my first 9 years in education here previously as both a teacher and coach. For the past 7 years, I have served as an Assistant Principal at Monroe Area High School.

With my high school leadership experience, I am very passionate about facilitating a smooth transition from middle school to high school, ensuring that each student has the support and guidance needed to thrive. I am very excited to be back with middle school students as I understand the pivotal role this time plays in their educational journey.
